Yeah, its a cliche but given that this is the first post of my first blogging attempt here goes: FIRST POST!!!!111!!!1!1!

Whew, now that that’s out of the system on to business:

Artist: Clint Maedgen

No one outside of and far, far too few in New Orleans know who Clint is. So then, who the hell is this guy? Why, he’s the suited fellow standing outside the Checkpoint Charlie’s Bar & Laundromat, he’s the guy whom at Voodoofest my out-of-town friend immediately identified as having a horrible case of molestache, he’s the guy who preformed the national anthem at the BCS Championship, and this is his first solo album.

So let’s get it out in the open. It’s short (Six songs!), basically an EP but priced like a much longer album.  So why do I think its worth your money?  Well, because it was certainly worth mine.  I’ve been listening to it a minimum of several times a week for the last three months – initially several times a day – and have yet to get tired of it.

Except for the strange yet enjoyable Captain Tedious listening to this album is almost like listening to some solid oldies.
